
Roger Moore made his first Bond film, Live and Let Die, in 1973. He is the longest-running Bond actor, having appeared in seven films from 1973 to 1985.
After retiring from the Bond role, Moore continued to appear in various film and television projects. His primary public role, however, has been a humanitarian one as an Ambassador for UNICEF. He has been a UNICEF Ambassador since 1991.
